  • Chicken fillet – 0.5 kg;
  • Bread slice – 2 pcs.;
  • Onion – ½ head;
  • Garlic (slices) – 2 pcs.;
  • Coarse salt – 1 tsp;
  • Selected egg – 2 pcs.;
  • Breadcrumbs – 80 g;
  • Green onions - ½ bunch (or to taste).


How to cook chicken zrazy in the oven

  1. Prepare the minced meat. Grind chicken meat through a meat grinder or in a blender.
  2. Pour boiling water (1/2 cup) over the bread crumb, without crusts, and soak for 1 minute. Then squeeze out the bread and mix with the meat mixture.
  3. Chop the onion very finely and thinly. We won’t put it through grinders so that the cutlets turn out juicy, because the oven will already dry out the already rather dry chicken meat.
  4. Three garlic on the smallest grating attachment and, together with 1 egg, mix into the cutlet mixture, also adding salt and spices to taste.
  5. Let's make the filling. Finely chop a hard-boiled chicken egg (or 2 eggs of the second category) and mix with finely chopped green onions. Salt the mixture to taste - the filling is ready.
  6. We divide the minced meat into several small lumps, no larger than a tennis ball, after which we flatten each ball in the palm of our hand, put the filling in the center and form a cutlet, completely hiding the filler inside the minced meat.
  7. Dip the cutlet in breading and place on a baking sheet lined with baking paper.
  8. The oven must be preheated to 190°C in advance for baking. Place the baking sheet into the hot “inside” of the oven and bake for 20 minutes.

Zrazy from minced chicken with egg and mushrooms

Zrazy is an original and universal dish, which can be either a main hot treat or a snack. They can be baked in the oven and fried in a frying pan, steamed or even cooked on the grill (not at home, but somewhere in nature).

  • The breast from one chicken should be cut off along the bone, dividing into 2 halves, after which each of them is divided crosswise into 2 more flat parts. We cut the larger pieces in half and leave the smaller pieces as is. As a result, we have 6 flat pieces of chicken.

Having salted and peppered the fillet, cover it with film and thoroughly go over the meat with a hammer on each side.

  • The chops are ready and we can start preparing the filling. We hard-boil two selected chicken eggs, cool, peel and chop into small slices with a knife.
  • Chop a small head of onion into cubes (finely) and fry for a couple of minutes in a frying pan until golden brown.
  • Then 150 g fresh champignons cut into small pieces and add to the onion. Salt the roast to taste and cook, uncovered, for 5 minutes.
  • Mix the prepared mushrooms with chopped eggs - the filling is ready.

    To prepare minced meat, chicken fillet must be removed from the bones, the onion cut into cubes of any size, not necessarily small, the potatoes peeled and grated coarsely, and the garlic mashed with a masher.

    Throw all the ingredients into a blender cup, beat in an egg, add 1 tsp. salt with a small slide and pepper seasoning (1/2 tsp).

    At maximum power, beat the minced meat in the chopper for two minutes until it reaches a uniform thick consistency.

    Now let's prepare the filling. In our case, two types of zraz were prepared: with egg and cheese filling and purely with cheese filling.

    For cheese zraz, we simply cut 5-6 cheese blocks, 3 cm long and 1 cm wide.

    For the second type of filling, grate a hard-boiled egg and the remaining cheese with coarse shavings, add salt to the resulting mixture to taste and mix.

    We begin to sculpt zrazy. Take small lumps of minced meat and knead them on your palm into a flat cake.

    Place the filling in the center (1 block of cheese or 1.5 tsp of egg-cheese mixture) and seal the edges of the flatbread, forming a cutlet.

    I made the zrazy oval with the cheese, and round with the egg to differentiate them. To make it more convenient to sculpt the cutlet, your hands should be wetted in cool water.

    Place the finished cutlets in a well-heated frying pan with oil and fry them over high heat until a thick crust forms on one side.
